Many women do not seriously consider bodybuilding when choosing an exercise program. This may be because they believe it will not help them achieve their muscle building and weight loss goals. Believe it or not, however, once you start bodybuilding, your body will burn calories more efficiently. In a few months you will notice a radical change in the shape of the body that you see in the mirror. You will be more elegant and sporty.
1) Your body will burn calories more efficiently
As you train and eat enough protein, you will gain muscle mass in the right places without getting fat. Supposedly, you burn 35 to 50 calories a day for every pound of muscle mass. By gaining more muscle, you will burn more calories. Do not be afraid to become as muscular as a bodybuilding guy. This is just one myth among others. Women have 10 to 30 times less hormonal physiology than men who cause muscle hypertrophy (large muscles).
2) Change the shape of your body better than cardiovascular exercise
There was a university study done in which a number of subjects were asked to do cardio such as walking and the same number were asked to train weights as their main exercise. After a certain period of time, both groups lost weight, with the same low-calorie diet and the same food. The cardio group lost fat and unfortunately a little muscle while the bodybuilding group lost only fat. With bodybuilding, you will burn body fat and not muscle.
